Particularly in such challenging times, we are inspired by her incredible journey – escaping the terrors of both Nazi Germany and of Soviet communism – and by her resolve to prevent the past atrocities of fascism and authoritarianism being inflicted on future generations. Her commitment to defending democratic values, while championing respect, and empathy for others, defines her legacy in public service, especially as the first female Secretary of State in U.S. history.
