Arthur Stark, Chairman and Malcolm Hoenlein, Executive Vice Chairman/CEO of the Conference of Presidents of Major American Jewish Organizations issued the following statement:
We congratulate and offer our best wishes to Prime Minister Netanyahu on once again being chosen by President Rivlin to form a new Israeli government. We look forward to continuing to work with the Prime Minister, as we have enjoyed a very fruitful and productive relationship over many years. We hope that the lasting partnership between the American Jewish community and the State of Israel will continue to help strengthen the special US-Israel relationship and the bonds with American leaders and people from all segments of society and areas of the political spectrum. Together, these two great democracies can meet many of the challenges that face us. We also look to work with the new Knesset in addressing these issues.
