Arthur Stark, Chairman and Malcolm Hoenlein, Executive Vice Chairman/CEO of the Conference of Presidents of Major American Jewish Organizations issued the following statement:
We are saddened and shocked by the recent murder of Ari Fuld by a knife-wielding terrorist outside the Harim Mall near Jerusalem. A father of four, an American citizen and native of Queens, NY, and a veteran of the Second Lebanon War, Ari led by example. As a passionate Zionist who devoted his life to advocating and fighting for Israel, Ari made aliyah, joined the IDF, and later worked for Standing Together, an organization dedicated to distributing care packages and providing relief to Israeli soldiers and civilians.
We hope that the world will condemn and decry this outrageous act of violence.
May Ari Fuld’s memory be a blessing, and may his family be comforted with the mourners of Zion.
