“The Conference of Presidents of Major American Jewish Organizations stands with the people of Israel in condemning Iran’s unprecedented drone and missile attack.
“The attacks launched against Israel constitute a wanton act of aggression from the clerical regime in Tehran. We commend President Biden for his ironclad support for Israeli security. We also thank allies, including the United Kingdom, France and Jordan, for standing with Israel. The international community must come together to condemn Iran’s aggression against Israel in violation of the UN Charter.
“We commend the men and women of the Israel Defense Forces for their bravery and dedication to the defense of the Israeli people. We are thankful Israel possesses the means to defend itself against such Iranian aggression.
“We pray for the health and safety of all Israelis during these trying times. In particular, we hope the young Bedouin girl injured by shrapnel from an Iranian missile makes a full and speedy recovery.
“Our thoughts are with the people of Israel who are now confronting this dangerous attack from Iran, and we redouble our commitment to ensuring Israel has the resources and support it needs to defend itself.”
