. . . Arthur Stark, Chairman, William Daroff, CEO, and Malcolm Hoenlein, Vice Chair of the Conference of Presidents of Major American Jewish Organizations, issued the following statement:
“We welcome the agreement between the United States and Israel that was reached by Defense Secretary Esper and Defense Minister Gantz, securing the Jewish State’s qualitative military edge for decades to come. It is the result of weeks-long discussions between the two governments, and represents America’s unwavering commitment to Israel’s continued security and stability.
Enabling Israel to acquire cutting-edge weapons technology from the US is imperative for it to face enduring and increasing threats from Iran, its terrorist proxies, and others that seek its destruction. Strategic collaboration between Israel, the US, and other allies is of great benefit to the Middle East and to the world.
American support for the Jewish State is of paramount importance; the bonds shared by the two countries are unbreakable. We look forward to continuing to support the close, critical US-Israel relationship in the years ahead.”
