Rachel Binder


Rachel Binder stepped into the role of Managing Director, Finance and Operations in July 2022 after four years with the Conference. She is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operational functions of the organization, including all financial, human resources, and mission responsibilities.

Prior to joining the COP, Rachel worked as an executive pastry chef at several well-known New York restaurants. She honed her craft at chef Peter Hoffman’s Savoy and Danny Meyer’s Union Square Café, Tabla, and Maialino, before opening her own bakery and cafe, Padoca Bakery + Cakes, in New York City.

Born in Toronto and raised in Jerusalem, Rachel graduated from Binghamton University and the New York Restaurant School.
